Day 30 After the Medical Medium Protocol – Measurable Improvements vs the Invisible
During this detox cleanse, I’ve had lots of improvements that I can see, feel and even measure. I discussed many of them in the Day 28 post.
Here’s a quick recap:
For me:
- 20 lb weight loss
- Increased energy and ability to do more physical activity without tiring
- Diminished headaches and pain in head
- Brain fog diminished – can focus better and think more clearly
- Big improvement in digestion
- Intestinal and uterine cramps subsided
- Vision improvement
- Less joint and muscle pain/discomfort in knees and legs
- Edema in legs and feet went away
For my husband:
- 20 lb weight loss
- Increased energy
- Blood pressure dropped from top number in 150’s to a steady 112 to 116/62
- Stabbing pains in head greatly lessened
When friends ask if it was worth giving up normal eating for practically a whole month – I say, absolutely! Where else can you get so many dramatic improvements in such a short time? [Fast forward: all these improvements not only held, but kept improving with repeated cleanses]
For me, the lifting of the brain fog, the diminished headaches, the almost gone cramping that had been going on for years and the weight loss (something nothing has moved the needle on until this) were dramatic and obvious. Things haven’t been so obvious with my husband, except for his weight loss (about 20 lbs), which is very visible and measurable. All his friends are commenting on that! I’ve actually lost just as much weight, but its not so visible because I had (and still have) much more to lose.
In spite of my husband’s improvements, he just isn’t feeling that different yet. But it only makes sense that a lot of good things have to be happening inside his body for his blood pressure to now be maintaining such a healthy level so steadily.
Today, my husband did note something significant. He realized he hasn’t had any stabbing pains in his head for a whole week! This is really huge because the pains were so bad and so frequent. The literally stopped him in his tracks, sometimes causing him to collapse. By the end of the 28 days of the detox, they had dropped down to 4-6 mild episodes a week or less, but this week, he had none at all!
His energy has continued to improve little by little. He hasn’t had any huge energy boosts but there is a noticeable difference in how much more he can do before he gets really tired. He has more color in his face and more stamina for yard work.
These are definite signs of improvement and that’s certainly better than getting weaker and having less energy over time.
We’ve been continuing on the 28-Day Medical Medium detox diet and eating the same way as we were for the last month. The pace of detoxing seems to be picking up for me.
