I noticed a few rather remarkable things today. Remember that lipoma I mentioned on Day 9? Here’s a quick reminder — On the outside of my left arm, just below the shoulder, I had a lipoma (a benign tumor composed of adipose [fatty] tissue) that was starting to really bother me every time I moved my arm.

It had started to grow rather rapidly in the last year and had reached the size of a peach pit. I was given a referral to a surgeon, but put it off because I was changing doctors.

To my astonishment, by Day 9, I started to notice it had gotten smaller, and now, it has shrunk to almost nothing! In fact, now it feels like two very small pea-sized lumps, one softer than the other.

That’s quite a difference from one big lump the size of a large apricot pit.

Down that same arm (this arm got a beating in a bicycle accident in my twenties and has been weaker ever since), a mole that had appeared some time last year on my thumb and had grown rapidly, but has now shrank back down. Some six to eight months ago, it started to rise from the skin and look stranger every week. I meant to ask the doctor about it, but today, I see that it is flat and flush with the skin, and quite a bit smaller than it was.

A completely different narrow, longish, hardened lump that had been growing just below my armpit for at least 15 years is also nearly gone. It had been x-rayed and ultrasounded many times over the years and was benign.

In the months before starting the detox, it had been radiating pain all around it and the whole area was often numb upon awakening.

When I found the lipoma nearly gone, I searched for this one and realized it was nearly gone, as well! It has shrunk so much, I had a hard time finding it. From about 1 3/4 inches long to about 3/4 inch and a lot thinner.

Not only that, but the big “knot” I had in my neck at the base of my skull (ever since being rear-ended by a bus at 23) is greatly reduced! It was quite a roll of tightened muscle that extended across the entire back of the neck. Now it was only a small roll.

These are welcome surprises!
