Day 14 on the Medical Medium Protocol – to Swim or Not to Swim
It was sooo hot today (we are having a heat wave). I couldn’t let a Sunday, a day off, go by without going swimming in the lake.
Ahhh…The cool water was so refreshing.
I felt energetic, so I swam for nearly two hours.
I guess I overestimated my energy level. While I didn’t swim all that hard, I was exhausted by early evening.
Anthony says a cleanse can be tiring on the body and to rest more. Maybe I shouldn’t have added the extra exertion, but summer means swimming for me. It just wouldn’t be summer if I couldn’t swim, and I’m not going to let a little detox diet stop me. The test will be seeing how I feel tomorrow.
My husband is still having a hard time. His energy level is pretty low most of the time. He still gets those stabbing pains in his head (although not as much), he’s still not sleeping well, and he’s tired and exhausted all the time.
He also has cravings for his favorite foods.
I’m encouraging him to hang in there and stay on course. I’m sure he’ll feel better soon.
Dinner Innovations:
Since the spinach/tomato “soup” is my least favorite meal of the day — I decided to see if I can improve upon it. I threw in a cucumber and a slice of purple onion. Much better!
I hope it doesn’t ruin the plan, but it tastes so much better that I want this to be my recipe from now on.
